About the CNA

The Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil (CNA) is a private institution that represents the Brazilian rural producer in Brazil and in the world. This includes from small family farmers to large entrepreneurs in the sector.

In addition to being the voice of these producers in the most diverse media – such as the National Congress, the Supreme Court and international bodies – the CNA also has a service to train these producers in the field, with training, technical and managerial assistance and education.

This work is carried out by the National Rural Learning Service (Senar), which, with its work, is able to improve the quality of life and increase the income of more than 70 million rural workers in Brazil.

CNA is also responsible for scientific studies to bring technology, innovation and productivity to the field. The work is developed by the CNA Institute in partnership with Senar and federations spread across the 26 Brazilian states and the Federal District. The work is able to reach almost all Brazilian municipalities through rural unions.
